This is our new Steelcaster. It’s a hollow body Tele Custom with one humbucker at the neck and a single coil Tele pickup in the bridge. It’s all chrome plated steel, including the pickguard. The maple neck has a vintage 60’s profile with medium jumbo frets. Bridge and pickups are by Trevor Wilkinson. The weight is just over 7 lbs. and the tone is fantastic. I especially like how the lower strings growl, but overall I have gotten the best blues solo tone of my life from this guitar. We make these guitars using bodies that are hammered out for us by the same Korean guys who make our Tricone resonator bodies. They do real nice work.

We also have the same instrument in brass and in copper. We call these, what else, the Brasscaster and the Coppercaster. The Brasscaster is entirely made of bell brass and the Coppercaster is made of copper plated steel. They do sound a little different from each other. The steel bodies are a little brighter and twangier than the brass bodies. The Brasscasters are a little more mellow.
