After an injury to my left hand, I had to take up slide to keep playin’. BUMMER! I’ve always run away from slide guitar.. but now I’m cornered!! I’ve dabbled with Dobro, and electric lap C/6. Unpacked my Royal Hawaiian LTD.. a few weeks ago, gave it some space..This is a very beautiful, fine quality guitar (and case) for the money! The Fishman is really nice. The voice of the top w/bracing opens up nicely with little playing. A very soulful, warm tone/voice with a bite when you dig in and rock the tone bar..I’ve been playing fretted for 52 years. I’ve owned many acoustic, and electric guitars.I’m starting all over, and getting my feet wet on a fine instrument. You can’t go wrong with these products.. I’m looking for the square-neck Dobro model…

I received my hawaiian ltd today after getting off to a shaky start when ordering. I ordered it and the next day, saturday, I found out that I was going to be out of town for about 8-9 days. I emailed Greg to see if he could hold up the shipment. He emailed me back on monday and said that it was already on it’s way. So I got my grandson who works nights to stay here and sign for it when it came. In the meantime Greg emailed me back on tuesday and said the guitar was still there and he would hold it till the following week. Wait it gets better. I emailed him back and said it was ok to send it on that I had arranged for someone to be here to sign for it. He said fine and that it would be coming by US Mail. He emailed me the following day and said no it was coming UPS. So, after all of that, I was back from my trip today when the guitar arrived and let me tell you, it exceeded my expectations. The case is very nice. The guitar was perfect. Not a mark on it and it sounds beautiful. With all the mess that Greg and his associates had to deal with lately (fires and mud slides ) it’s amazing that they can still function and do it with such a great attitude. My next order will be for the square neck steel body. The wife says I have to get rid of one before ordering another. So probably this August I’ll have that tricone and if it’s as nice as this weissenborn, I’ll be very pleased indeed—–Buck
